Cobalt 2022

Here are my snaps of the new set of twelve additions to the best selling super stylish men's collection Cobalt I created for Cinnamon Aitch. I'm happily catching up with my posts and so glad I'm now sharing these exciting new designs that were released earlier this year. 

With its signature modern colour palette of hyperreal blues and aged natural textures, Cobalt's original style picks up on traditional paper collage that I love and contrasts this with contemporary geo shapes and zingy foil. The new designs follow on from the SS20 release and feature icons of mountain bikes, skateboarding, wild swimming, birthday balloons and a barbecue (super popular in this hot weather!). The range embraces our love of the great outdoors and also those lovely times together at home. Each card is packed with a unique bespoke concrete patterned envelope. The new designs were shown at this year's PG Live and are available in the shops and direct from Cinnamon Aitch.

PG Live 2022

Oh what a fab day in London last week for the Progressive Greetings Live Show. It was lovely to catch up with everyone after such a long break in the usual running of the trade shows - my last PG was back in 2019! So exciting to see the new Florentine collection for Portfolio Cards, the latest Cobalt 2022 (post coming soon) for Cinnamon Aitch and the new birthdays Ditsy Bloom for The Great British Card Company up on the walls.

I've been working keenly on new product for next year however other commitments have taken my time for instragram and journal updates recently. I'm looking forward to sharing soon all the latest releases from earlier in the year.

Florentine Spring

Following on fabulously from the festive collection we have new for 2022 the Spring Edition of the beautiful Florentine created in a collaboration with Portfolio Cards.

Florentine features a rich, jewel like colour palette with detailed debossed artwork and golden foil. The beautiful illustrations are inspired by traditional Italian papers, specialist letter press art prints and ornate wallpapers. The design style embraces a lux, fine detailed and illustrative approach. Each design is printed in the UK with plastic free foil on environmentally friendly board and is supplied with a kraft or white envelope. Released autumn 2021 and now available in the shops this Spring season.

Spring Fair 2022

It's been a fab start to February with the long awaited return of an annual visit to Spring Fair at the NEC. I always enjoy catching up with everyone and talking all things creative but it was especially so this year after such a break in the regular running of the shows. 

Trend wise, there is some contrast between the beautifully crafted sanctuary themes made with natural materials and the opposite exciting loud, proud, celebration brights of party balloons, streamers and strong scented bath bombs. Looking ahead it will be interesting to see how these themes go together out in the shops. 

It was joy for me to see some of the projects I've been working on appearing on the shelves. There will be plenty to share on here with you this Spring.

Tiger Lily AW21

Following on from the popular festive additions to the best selling Tiger Lily collection last year are some brand new illustrations for AW21. The fabulously eye catching greetings collection created in a collaboration with Portfolio Cards includes Christmas singles & relations designs. Tiger Lily features a rich, vibrant colour palette with accents of neon and flourishes of gold foil on environmentally friendly board. The lovely illustrations inspired by the natural world portray beautiful, festive flora and fauna with our favourite Tiger Lily giraffe topping the Christmas tree. The design style embraces a flamboyant, elegant and painterly approach. Each design is printed in the UK and is packed with a kraft envelope.

Thought I'd share these festive lovelies before we break for Christmas. I'll be working on some fab new projects and will be back in January with news of upcoming releases in the new year - including fun SS22 additions to Cobalt and some exciting new Florentine Everyday. Festive Friday 2021

This week the outbox is filling up as it's Festive Friday tomorrow. A special day for the greeting card industry to send our Christmas mail, creating a festive whirl of post arriving in the first week of December and getting us all in the mood for sending Christmas cards.

Following on from last year's lovely little winter hare from the Christmas Tiger Lily collection designed for Portfolio Cards, this year I'm sending your favourite card from the new Florentine collection created for Portfolio Cards - more to follow in December on this gorgeous new collection. This little Santa will soon begin his journey flying around the world spreading some Christmas cheer.
